Instructions:
Do NOT use this admin to refer to any particlar person holding an office.
You must create a race for a Container and a winner for that race with appropriate Term Start and Term End dates.
The Parent field link will take you back to the Container just above this one.
The Category pull-down tells you what type of Container this is.
The Category name organizes the Containers on the Parent page aphabetically under Red headers.
Please do not create new ones unless no item in the list is appropriate.
Please use "State House" to mean "State Assembly".
The Name text field is the name of this Container.
This will appear on the front page when something new is added to this Container.
The Website text field can be used to link to an external site with information about this Container.
The Established date field sets the date the item represented by this container became active.
Using the overall date field in the Upper Left of the site to set a date previous to this date will not show this Container on the parent page.
The Disbanded date field sets the date the item represented by this container became inactive.
Using the overall date field in the Upper Left of the site to set a date after this date will not show this Container on the parent page.
Use the Priority field to set a numerical priority for this Container.
On the parent Container, your child containers will be organized under their Category headers by this number with the highest number being first.
If two child Containers have the same Priority, they are then organized alphabetically.
The Ref # field is a place to put a numeric reference for this Container.
Congressional, State House or State Senate seats should put their district number here.
The Census ID field is meant as a helper for importing census data. For the US, this is the 2-letter state abbreviation
followed by the 7-digit Logical Record Number from the PLST file types for 2010 (aka FIPS code).
The GNIS ID field is the standardized Geographic Names Information System identifier.
The Alternate Names field is meant as a helper for importing data as well as to help site searches.
The Info field allows you to put some information about this Container for everyone to see.
This should be permanent information, not just relevant for a particular time period.
Please try to keep it relatively short.
The IsHTML checkbox will allow you to use HTML codes in the Info box.
The Graphic field allows you to upload a GIF graphic to represent this Container using the "Browse" button and selecting a GIF graphic on your computer.
After a graphic has been uploaded, checking the "Delete" checkbox will delete the existing Graphic.
The system will resize Graphics to its preferred size.
Please leave the Fill Coords text area alone for right now. This is used for generating graphical maps.
The Anyone Edit checkbox was meant to disallow other users from changing your work. It is currently non-functional, but this may change.
Click the Save Changes button to save any changes you make.
The Return To View ____ link will change to the non-edit display mode for this Container.
